Reiki Healing

Reiki is a core modality at Soul Science. In fact, all practice space, tools, & sessions are, at minimum, infused with its energy. A Japanese healing technique dating back to the late 1800s, Reiki energy is used to reduce stress and promote relaxation, balance energy and heal physical and emotional ailments. Your practitioner works with moving subtle body energies, clearing space for prana, chi, or life force to flow. It is a pure intent healing modality & can do no physical, spiritual, emotional, or mental harm. With an intelligence all it’s own, reiki is a powerful tool for healing the bodys energy system & restoring balance for increased wellness on every level.  Its core focus  is based around spiritually & scientifically supported concepts of a universal life force energy that exists within each of us and our ability to harness and manipulate it through intentional connection to source. 

Your session will begin over warm herbal tea, and a relaxed series of questions to aid us in assessing your unique personal energy needs & to set a goal for the session. Next, you will be moved through a guided meditation to achieve a deep state of relaxation. Once this state has been reached, your practitioner will preform an invocation to connect to divine reiki energy, & to set the intention earlier discussed in your service.
This will begin the intentional opening of your energetic exit points, followed by the gentle laying on or hovering of hands. Each set of hand positions used in reiki is associated with a different chakra & focal point of our endocrine system, with the intention that reiki energy will be channeled from source, to practitioner, to client, & absorbed by the respective energy center to be dispersed throughout the body as needed. Reiki is an intelligent energy system and can be relied upon to travel to where it is most needed, to serve its highest good. The energy is not at the will of the practitioner & does not serve to feed the ego in such a way, rather it chooses to awaken  in each of us the universal healing energy we've possessed all along.
